No matter how cool images of helicopters are, it's really all about the people inside them.

Air Evac Lifeteam pilot Mike Hull. Mike was an AirCare One pilot for eleven years. When I learned he had left AirCare I was disappointed that I had never captured a photograph of him. I was thrilled to see him flying with Air Evac, and in finally capturing his photo.

The Lives Matter movement is very popular right now. Thought I'd show were I stand on this with an All Lives Matter image. What better way to say this than through the University of Iowa's AirCare.
I love blue birds!
I set out today hoping to photograph some bluebirds, but I never intended to capture this one. It's always an honor to photograph LifeGuard.

It really is all about the people, but photographing through the tinted windows of AirCare One has always been difficult. In this image the sun was lower in the sky which helped to see inside.
